News from The Complete Set

May Post

Hello, it's the Complete Set here from sunny Brighton, UK!
We've been making music yet again, which has resulted in some fantastic new compositions and recordings as explained below:
(1) Keep the Inside Out.This piece combines 2 diminished chords to provide the harmonic structure for the first section. The piece then modulates through various keys, encompassing more traditional tonal styles along the way, until concluding in A major and pyschedelic rock!;
(2) What's So Bad About Feeling Good? A combination of late romantic classical music, jazz, blues, and pyschedelic rock. Have a listen to some excellent vocals, including some smooth backing singing!;and
(3) Confusion Rains. This piece is underpinned by a bass line which is played throughout the enirety of this composition. This provides an unusual harmonic dimension, as much of the chord structure is not directly related to the tonic note. The piece also modulates between major and minor keys. Quite interesting!
Have a listen to the above-mentioned pieces and let us know what you think! If you like what you hear, you can hear even more great music on Soundcloud. Eventually, you'll be able to hear us on other music platforms.the details of which will be published in due course!
